Шаг 1. Перед тем, как приступить к разборке

⚠️ Перед тем, как приступить к разборке, не забудьте выключить телефон.

Шаг 2. Вынимаем Лоток карт

Используя инструмент Ключ или Скрепку и открываем слот Сим карты и Карты памяти и вынимаем его.

⚠️ Обратите внимание! Вставлять инструмент нужно в специальное отверстие на ребре корпуса телефона. Не нажимайте слишком сильно, это может привести к поломке механизма выталкивания лотка.

Шаг 3. Откручиваем винты

При помощи отвертки (прецизионная звездообразная 0,8 мм она же Pentalobe) откручиваем 2 винта на торце телефона.

Шаг 4. Открываем заднюю крышку

При помощи инструмента лопатка или пластикового медиатора, аккуратно, по периметру, отсоединяем крепления задней крышки и снимаем ее.

⚠️ Старайтесь не вставлять инструмент слишком глубоко, или отгибать, иначе на корпусе могут остаться следы вскрытия или повреждения.

⚠️ Будьте внимательны, открывая крышку со стороны боковых кнопок громкости и включения. Тонкий шлейф и хрупкие кнопки очень легко повредить.

⚠️ Так же обратите внимание на сканер отпечатка пальцев, приклеенный к задней крышке с внутренней стороны.

Шаг 5. Отсоединяем коннектор

Отсоединяем коннектор датчика отпечатка пальцев и убираем крышку.

Шаг 6. Откручиваем винты

При помощи отвертки (крестовая 1,5 мм PH000) откручиваем 8 винтов.

Шаг 7. Открываем крышку

Снимите крышку, скрывающую материнскую плату.

Шаг 8. Отсоединяем коннектор аккумуляторной батареи

ℹ️️ В модели Xiaomi Mi Max 2 MDE40, установлен аккумулятор (АКБ) BM50 емкостью 5200 мАч.

⚠️ Настоятельно рекомендуем отсоединить коннектор, чтобы избежать возможного замыкания в процессе разборки.

Так же, постарайтесь не использовать металлический инструмент для отсоединения коннектора АКБ или делайте это очень аккуратно.

Шаг 9. Откручиваем винты

При помощи отвертки (крестовая 1.5 мм, она же Phillips PH000) откручиваем 6 винтов.

Шаг 10. Отсоединяем динамик

Отсоединяем нижний антенный блок с полифоническим (музыкальным) динамиком.

Шаг 11. Отсоединяем коннекторы

Отсоединяем коннектор коаксиального кабеля, шлейф на основную плату, на нижней печатной плате.

⚠️ Не стоит тянуть за кабель/шлейф или поддевать чем-то острым, коннекторы очень слабые и легко ломаются, или кабель/шлейф выпадает из обжимного наконечника.

Шаг 12. Отсоединяем субплату

Снимаем нижнюю субплату. Т.к. она приклеена металлизированным скотчем к станине, для облегчения процесса плату можно немного нагреть.

ℹ️️ На плате расположены разъем для зарядки Micro USB, микрофон, прижимные контакты на динамик и антенный блок.

⚠️ При демонтаже нижней платы, не нужно вставлять инструмент под плату. Можно повредить компоненты с внутренней стороны.

Шаг 13. Откручиваем винт

С помощью отвертки (Phillips 1,5 мм PH000) открутите один винт, крепящий материнскую плату.

Шаг 14. Отсоединяем коннекторы

Отсоединяем коннекторы шлейфов боковых кнопок, на дисплейный, тачскрин, на нижнюю плату и коаксиального кабеля. Также отсоединяем фронтальную камеру.

Шаг 15. Отсоединяем печатную плату

Аккуратно снимаем печатную плату. Не нужно использовать рычаг или стараться достать плату силой, убедитесь, что ничто не мешает и не держит плату.

⚠️ Не изгибайте печатную плату при демонтаже и не просовывайте инструменты под нее. Незаметно для себя, вы можете повредить компоненты или шлейфы с внутренней стороны.

Шаг 16. Отсоединяем основную камеру

Отсоединяем коннектор на печатной плате и снимаем основную камеру.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with a 6.44-inch display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The phone is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. It packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Today we finally got a golden one, and then we cannot wait to open it to explore its internal structure.
First look at this Mi Max 2 specification:

According to the previous experience, we first remove SIM card tray, to avoid damage to the fuselage in the disassembly process.

Like other Xiaomi phones, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also using two 0.8*25mm screws securing the back cover to the middle frame.

After removing two 0.8*25mm screws, open the back cover a little bit with a sucker.

Insert a pick between the back cover and the fuselage, and then slowly slide the pick to release the snaps on the middle frame.
It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi Mi Max 2’s back cover is very easy to remove, before I am never so easy to remove a mobile phone back cover.

In the separation of the back cover and the fuselage should be noted that the fingerprint module cable on the back cover is still connected to the motherboard.
Disconnect the fingerprint module cable from the motherboard with a crowbar.

We found a chip and marked with “5001 8500 1649” on the back of our fingerprint cable, but it’s not clear which manufacturer it came from. If you know, please tell us.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 using the classic three-stage fuselage. The upper is the motherboard. The middle is the battery. The bottom is the USB board.

Before removing the motherboard, we need to remove the graphite sticker, which covers the metal plate and the battery.

Remove all the screws securing the metal plate and motherboard.

Remove the metal plate with tweezers.

Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard. And then disconnect the display cable, power button cable, FPC cable, touch cable, coaxial cable from the motherboard.

Remove the front camera.

All the metal shields are welded to the motherboard, and one of the shields has a graphite sticker, according to experience the following should be the Snapdragon 625 processor and RAM. As most midrange machines, the integration is not particularly high, whether it’s motherboard or the bottom board.

The front camera module is really small, it comes from QTech, the model is F5E8YAR, but we did not find this product on Q-Tech’s official website.
On the main camera is marked with “A12N06P”, it should also come from QTech.

The touch chip comes from FocalTech with a model of FT5446DQS.

Remove all screws securing the loudspeaker and bottom board.

Surprisingly, after removing all the screws, the loudspeaker automatically pop out, and usually, the loudspeaker was glued to the chassis.

The bottom board is manufactured by Taiwan COMPEQ. The bottom board integrates a USB port and a lot of metal contacts.

There are two adhesive tapes under the battery, and the battery can be removed by pulling out the adhesive tape.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with a 3.85V, 5300mAh Li-ion polymer battery, the model is BM50. It is manufactured by Sunwoda Electronic.

plastic card or mediator;

To carry out a careful disassembly of the smartphone, let’s take as a basis the process of performing this action in the service center.

Turn off the smartphone.
Remove the SIM card and memory card tray.
Put the smartphone down with the screen. It is recommended to heat the telephone on the separator to facilitate disassembly.
Attach the suction cup to the lid of the smartphone.
With one hand pulling the suction cup and pressing the case, try to insert a corner of a plastic card or mediator under the cover. The thinner it is, the better.
If the lid is difficult to detach, use isopropyl alcohol.
After actions with a plastic card or mediator on the back cover, it completely peels off.
Remove the seals protecting the screws.
One by one, unscrew all the screws that hold the motherboard. But be careful, as the screws can be of different sizes. You need to remember where and which one was screwed in so that you do not face difficulties during the assembly process.
Remove the plastic casing.
Disconnect the battery ribbon cable. Do this using a non-metallic tool.
Remove the polyphonic speaker unit by unscrewing the screws at the bottom of the body.
Remove the SIM card carriage.
Disconnect the display ribbon cable.
Peel off the sticker that holds the battery.
Pull it and remove the battery.
Detach the inter-board ribbon cable that is located under the battery.
Disconnect the coaxial cable and the fingerprint scanner ribbon cable.
Remove the motherboard.

Further actions depend on the purpose of the disassembly. Of course, some steps of the instruction can be skipped, but a detailed illustration containing all the steps helps to understand from which components Xiaomi Mi Max 2 64GB is assembled.
