Regolare la manopola di regolazione in
funzione del tipo e della freschezza del
pane :

Quando non si utilizza la piena capacità
dell’apparecchio (per esempio : una sola
fetta di pane), si consiglia di regolare la
manopola di regolazione su un valore più
basso.

Introduzione delle fette di pane :
Con la manopola di comando in posizione
alta, introdurre le fette di pane in ognuna
delle apposite fessure.
4 •
Tostatura del pane :
Abbassare la manopola di comando.
Premendo leggermente il comando, esso si
blocca in posizione bassa. Le griglie di
mantenimento del pane si regolano automa-
ticamente in funzione dello spessore delle
fette, centrandole rispetto agli elementi
scaldanti che si accenderanno.
Nota bene : Su questo modello elettronico,
la manopola di comando può essere fissata
in posizione bassa solo quando l’apparec-
chio è collegato alla corrente.
Con il tempo, è possibile che il funziona-
mento di questa manopola venga ostruito
dall’accumulo di briciole e di polvere
all’interno dell’apparecchio. In tal caso, per
inserire la manopola di comando basta
azionarla più volte di seguito.

Arresto della tostatura :
Alla fine della cottura, la manopola di
comando si sblocca in modo automatico,
arrestando il funzionamento del tostapane.
Le fette di pane fuoriescono
dall’apparecchio.
Se si tostano dei panini con uva passa,
togliere l’uvetta che rischia di danneggiare
l’apparecchio provocando un corto circuito.
Si può interrompere la tostatura in qualsiasi
momento posizionando la manopola di regola-
zione sulla posizione “STOP — ESPULSIONE”.

Riscaldamento di panini, croissant, ecc. :
(accessorio disponibile secondo i modelli)
Il tostapane è munito di uno scaldino acces-
sorio per panini e croissant.
Per utilizzarlo, attenersi alle seguenti
istruzioni :
— Sollevare i fili
ABBASSANDO la leva
dello scaldino.
— Regolare la manopola di regolazione sulla
posizione desiderata (da 1 a 3 massimo).
— Disporre i panini o i croissant sulla griglia
di supporto dello scaldapanini.
— Abbassare la manopola di comando al
fine di mettere in funzione l’apparecchio.
— Alla fine del riscaldamento, la manopola
di comando risale automaticamente e i
panini sono pronti.
— Al termine potete girare i panini in modo
da ottenere un riscaldamento omogeneo
grazie al calore che continua ancora per
1 o 2 minuti.
— Alla fine dell’operazione, lasciare raffred-
dare l’apparecchio prima di riporlo.
— Abbassare i fili
RIALZANDO la leva
dello scaldino.
Precauzioni :
•
Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio per tos-
tare delle fette di pane e riscaldare nel
medesimo tempo dei panini o dei crois-
sant.

Non posare mai i panini o i croissant
direttamente sulle fessure del tostapane.
•
Non utilizzare mai lo scaldapanini per
cuocere o scongelare degli alimenti surge-
lati.

Pulizia e manutenzione :
Prima di qualsiasi operazione, togliere la
spina e lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio.
Ritirare il cassetto raccogli briciole e svuo-
tarlo.
Non intervenire mai all’interno dell’apparec-
chio con un oggetto metallico se non si
vogliono provocare dei gravi danni al tosta-
pane.
Ripulire l’interno dell’apparecchio e il cor-
done di alimentazione con un panno umido.
Far asciugare.
Per la pulizia, non utilizzare mai dei pro-
dotti abrasivi o troppo aggressivi né i pro-
dotti per la pulizia di forni o la candeggina.
Non arrotolare il cordone intorno all’appa-
recchio. Sotto il tostapane si trova un appo-
sito cassetto per sistemare il cordone.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
Al primo utilizzo del tostapane, leggere attentamente le istruzioni per l’uso e le norme di sicurezza.

Questo apparecchio è conforme alle regole e

Considerata la differenza delle norme in
vigore, se questo apparechio viene utilizzato
in un paese diverso da quello ove è stato
comprato, è opportuno farlo verificare da un
servizio di assistenza autorizzato.

Verificare che il voltaggio della rete
corrisponda a quello indicato
sull’apparecchio. Collegare sempre
l’apparecchio ad una presa con messa a terra.
●
Utilizzare un piano di lavoro stabile e al
riparo dagli schizzi d’acqua.
●
Non spostare l’apparecchio quando è in
funzione.
●
Non toccare mai le superfici calde
dell’apparecchio e in particolare il suo corpo
metallico, ma solo le fiancate e le manopole
(o, per lo scaldapanini, le sole maniglie).
●
Al fine di evitare delle scosse elettriche, non
immergere mai in acqua il filo elettrico, la
spina o l’intero apparecchio.
●
Non lasciare l’apparecchio in funzione
senza sorveglianza e in particolar modo
quando si effettua la prima tostatura o il
cambiamento di regolazione.
●
Non lasciatelo alla portata dei bambini.
●
Scollegare l’apparecchio quando non lo usate
o dovete pulirlo.
●
Non utilizzare il tostapane se :
— l’apparecchio o il cordone di alimentazione
presentano dei difetti ;
— l’apparecchio è caduto e ha subito dei
danni visibili o presenta delle anomalie di
funzionamento.
In tal caso, l’apparecchio deve essere inviato
al centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato più
vicino al fine di evitare qualsiasi rischio.

Il montaggio sul tostapane di accessori non
raccomandati dal costruttore può essere fonte
di pericoli.
●
Utilizzare l’apparecchio unicamente in casa.
●
Non lasciar pendere nel vuoto il cordone di
alimentazione. Non arrotolarlo intorno
all’apparecchio quando quest’ultimo è ancora
caldo.
●
Se si utilizza una prolunga elettrica, fare
attenzione a quanto segue :
a) la potenza elettrica della prolunga
utilizzata deve essere uguale a quella del
tostapane ;
b) la prolunga deve essere munita di messa a

Nach ein paar Versuchen werden Sie schnell mit
den verschiedenen Einstellungen zurechtkom-
men. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, den Einstellknopf
auf eine geringere Stufe zu stellen, wenn Sie nur
einen Teil der Gerätekapazität beanspruchen
(zum Beispiel Toasten von nur 1 Scheibe.

Einlegen des Brots :
Der Toastlift befindet sich in der oberen
Position, so daß die Brotscheiben problemlos
in die Toastschlitze gesteckt werden können.
4 •
Toastvorgang :
Den Toastlift nach unten drücken, was die
Blockierung derselben in der unteren
Position zur Folge hat. Die Haltegitter pas-
sen sich automatisch der Dicke der Scheiben
an und zentrieren sie zwischen den
Heizelementen, die aktiviert werden.
Hinweis : Bei diesem Elektrogerät wird die
Betriebssteuerung in der unteren Position
nur dann ausgelöst, wenn das Gerät ans
Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
Die Funktion kann nach längerer Zeit durch
Krümel oder Staub im Geräteinnern behin-
dert werden. In einem solchen Fall genügt
ein mehrmaliges Betätigen des Toastlifts, um
die Störung zu beheben.
5 •
Ende des Toastvorgangs :
Am Ende des Vorgangs löst sich die
Blockierung der Betriebssteuerung automa-
tisch, der Toaster stellt sich ab und die
Brotscheiben werden nach oben befördert.
Wenn Sie Rosinenbrötchen toasten, sollten
Sie die Rosinen entfernen, da diese sich
lösen und einen Kurzschluß hervorrufen
könnten, der das Gerät beschädigen könnte.
Sie können den Toastvorgang jederzeit
unterbrechen, indem Sie den Einstellknopf in
die Position «Stop-Ausgabe» stellen.

Aufwärmen von Brötchen, Hörnchen … :
(je nach Modell)
Ihr Toaster ist mit einem Zubehörteil
Brötchenaufsatz zum „Aufwärmen von
Brötchen/Croissants“ ausgerüstet.
Für die Benutzung bitte folgende
Anweisungen befolgen :
— Brötchenaufsatz anheben, indem man auf
den Hebel des Aufwärmers drückt.
— Den Einstellknopf in die gewünschte
Position, zwischen 1 und maximal 3 dre-
hen.
— Die Brötchen oder Hörnchen auf den
Aufsatz legen.
— Den Toastlift nach unten drücken.
— Am Ende des Aufwärmens kommt der
Toastlift wieder nach oben und die
Brötchen/Hörnchen sind warm.
— Sie können die Brötchen am Zyklusende
umdrehen, die Hitze verbreitet sich noch 1
bis 2 Minuten und verteilt die Wärme
gleichmäßig.
— Am Ende das Gerät abkühlen lassen und
vom Stromnetz trennen.
— Brötchenaufsatz senken, indem man den
Hebel des Aufwärmers anhebt.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen :

Sie dürfen das Gerät nicht gleichzeitig
zum Toasten von Brotscheiben und
Aufwärmen von Brötchen oder
Hörnchen benutzen…
•
Die Brötchen oder Hörnchen nie direkt
auf die Schlitze des Toasters legen.

Den Aufsatz nicht zum Garen oder
Auftauen von tiefgefrorenen Speisen

Pflege und Reinigung :
Vor jeder Pflege das Gerät vom Stromnetz
trennen und abkühlen lassen.
Krümelschublade herausziehen und Krümel
entfernen.
Nie mit einem Metallgegenstand ins
Geräteinnere gehen, dieser könnte schwere
Schäden verursachen.
Die Außenseite des Gerätes und das Kabel
mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen und
dann abtrocknen.
Keine zu aggressiven oder scheuernden
Mittel oder Reinigungsmittel für Backöfen
benutzen.
Anschlusskabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln ;
unter dem Gerät befindet sich ein Kabelfach
zu dessen Unterbringung.

dieses noch warm ist.

Wenn Sie ein Verlängerungskabel benutzen

a) die Stromleistung der Verlängerung min-
destens ebenso stark ist, wie die ihres
Toasters ;
b) mit einer Erdung versehen ist ;
c) das Kabel sich außerhalb der Reichweite
von Kindern befindet.

Ihren Toaster nicht in die Nähe einer
Heizquelle stellen und auch nicht auf einen
heißen Backofen.
●
Der Toastlift muß sich in der oberen Position
befinden, wenn Sie Ihr Gerät anschließen
oder vom Stromnetz trennen.
●
Keine zu dicken Brotscheiben in den Toaster stec-
ken (Brandrisiko) und auch keine
Metallgegenstände (Kurzschlußrisiko). Nie Papier,
Pappe oder Kunststoff in das Gerät stecken.
●
Das Brot kann verbrennen, deshalb darf der
Toaster nie in die Nähe oder unter Vorhänge
oder andere brennbare Materialien gestellt
werden. Er muß überwacht werden.
●
Sollten Teile des Gerätes in Brand geraten,
versuchen Sie nicht, die Flammen mit Wasser
zu löschen, sondern ersticken Sie sie mit eine
andere Flüssigkeit.
●
Wenn eine Brotscheibe im Toaster stecken
bleibt, das Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen und
abkühlen lassen. Dann die Brotscheibe ent-
fernen ohne die Metallteile zu berühren. Auf
keinen Fall eine Gabel oder einen anderen
metallischen Gegenstand benutzen.

Dieses Gerät wurde für den Gebrauch in
Privathaushalten konzipiert. Bei gewerbli-
cher, unsachgemäßer oder mit der

Sitúe el botón de ajuste en la posición
deseada, según la clase y estado del pan :

pan muy poco tostado o pan caliente,

Después de algunas utilizaciones, se fami-
liarizará con estos ajustes. Se recomienda
reducir la posición del botón de ajuste
cuando no utilice toda la capacidad del
aparato (por ejemplo una sola rebanada).

Colocación de las rebanadas de pan :
Con la palanca de mando en posición ele-
vada, coloque las rebanadas de pan en cada
ranura.
4 •
Tostado del pan :
Baje la palanca de mando hasta que quede
bloqueada en posición baja. Las rejillas de
sujeción se ajustan automáticamente según
el espesor de las rebanadas y las centran
entre las resistencias, que entonces se acti-
van.
Nota : en este modelo electrónico, la
palanca de funcionamiento sólo se fija en
posición baja si el aparato está conectado.
Es posible que este funcionamiento a la
larga se vea perturbado por la presencia de
migas o polvo en el interior del aparato. En
este caso basta con desplazar varias veces
la palanca de mando para fijarlo en posi-
ción baja.
5 •
Detención del tostado :
Al finalizar el tostado, la palanca de fun-
cionamiento se desbloquea automática-
mente, el tostador deja de funcionar y las
rebanadas suben.
Si tuesta panecillos con pasas, retire las
pasas que puedan desprenderse de los mis-
mos, ya que podrían dañar el aparato pro-
vocando un cortocircuito.
Puede interrumpir la operación de tostado
en cualquier momento situando el botón de
ajuste en la posición «STOP-EYECCIÓN».
6 •
Para calentar panecillos, croissants… :
(accesorio disponible según modelos).
Este tostador de pan viene equipado con
un accesorio “calientapanecillos/croissants.
Para utilizarlo, siga las instrucciones
siguientes :
—
Para levantar la rejilla,
OPRIMA la
palanca del accesorio “calientapanecil-
los/croissants».
— Ajuste el botón regulador a la posición
deseada de 1 a 3 máximo.
— Disponga los panecillos o croissants en
los alambres del accesorio.
— Baje la palanca de mando de funciona-
miento.
— Al finalizar, la palanca de mando vuelve
a subir ; los panecillos ya están calientes.
— Puede dar la vuelta a los panecillos cuan-
do el ciclo haya finalizado. El calor
seguirá difundiéndose durante 1 o 2
minutos y se calentarán de forma homo-
génea.
— Una vez finalizada la utilización, deje
enfriar el aparato y desconéctelo.
— Para bajar la rejilla,
LEVANTE la palan-
ca del accesorio.
Precauciones :
•
No debe utilizar el aparato para tostar
simultáneamente las rebanadas de pan
y recalentar los panecillos, croissants…
•
No coloque nunca los panecillos o
croissants directamente sobre las
ranuras del tostador.
•
No utilice el accesorio para cocinar o
descongelar platos congelados.

Mantenimiento y limpieza :
Antes de realizar cualquier operación de
mantenimiento, desconecte el aparato y
déjelo enfriar.
Retire la bandeja recogemigas y saque las
migas.
No introduzca nunca en el interior del apa-
rato ningún objeto metálico, ya que podría
deteriorarse seriamente.
Limpie el exterior del aparato y el cable
con un paño húmedo. Seque.
No utilice productos de limpieza demasia-
do agresivos o abrasivos, productos para
limpieza de hornos o lejía.
No enrolle el cable alrededor del aparato;
utilice el alojamiento recogecable situado
debajo del tostador.
MODO DE EMPLEO
Antes de utilizar el tostador de pan por primera vez lea atentamente el modo de empleo y las instrucciones de seguridad.

La seguridad de este aparato se ajusta a los
reglamentos técnicos y normas vigentes.
●
Este aparato cumple las normas y
condiciones de seguridad vigentes y las
siguientes directivas :
— la directiva sobre compatibilidad
electromagnética CEE 89/336, modificada

— la directiva de baja tensión CEE 72/23
modificada por la directiva CEE 93/68.

Debido a las diferentes normas en vigor en
cada país diferente al país donde compró el
aparato, hágalo verificar en un Centro de
Servicio Técnico.

Compruebe que la tensión de su instalación
coincide con la indicada en la placa del
aparato. Conecte siempre el aparato a una
toma con conexión a tierra.
●
Utilice el aparato sobre una superficie de
trabajo estable y protegida de las
proyecciones de agua.
●
No transporte ni desplace el aparato mientras
esté funcionando.
●
No toque las superficies calientes, en
particular la cubierta metálica. Sólo pueden
tocarse los laterales y los botones (así como
las asas del accesorio «calientapanecillos/
croissants»).
●
Con el fin de evitar descargas eléctricas, no
sumerja en agua el cable, su clavija o todo el
aparato.
●
No deje nunca el aparato en funciona-
miento sin supervisión, especialmente
cuando lo utilice por primera vez o cuando
cambie las posiciones del control.

No deje el aparato al alcance de los niños.
●
Desconecte el aparato cuando no lo utilice o
para limpiarlo.

No utilice el aparato en caso de que:
— éste o el cable sean defectuosos,
— el aparato haya caído y presente deterioros

No deje el cable colgando. No lo enrolle

a) la potencia eléctrica del alargador sea

b) el tostador está conectado a una toma con
conexión a tierra,
c) este alargador esté situado fuera del
alcance de los niños.

No instale el tostador cerca de una fuente de
calor ni sobre un horno caliente.

Al conectar o desconectar el aparato, la
palanca de mando debe encontrarse en
posición alta.
●
No introduzca en el aparato rebanadas de pan
excesivamente gruesas (riesgo de incendio)
ni objetos metálicos (riesgo de cortocircuito).
No coloque nunca papel, cartón o plástico en
el interior del aparato.
●
Para evitar cualquier riesgo de incendio, no
coloque el tostador cerca o debajo de cortinas
u otros materiales combustibles. Hay que
vigilarlo.
●
Si alguna parte del tostador llegase a arder,
nunca intente apagar las llamas con agua ;
apáguelas con un trapo mojado.
●
Si una rebanada de pan queda atascada en el
interior del aparato, desconéctelo y déjelo
enfriar. A continuación saque la rebanada de
pan sin tocar las partes metálicas. No utilice
nunca un tenedor u otro objeto metálico.
●
Este aparato ha sido diseñado sólo para uso
doméstico; cualquier utilización profesional,
no apropiada o no conforme al modo de
empleo eximirá al fabricante de cualquier
responsabilidad o garantía.

No cubra el aparato durante su funciona-

Ligar a torradeira à tomada.
2 •
Colocar o botão de ajuste na posição
desejada, consoante o tipo e o frescor
do pão:

Após algumas tentativas, ficará
rapidamente familiarizado com tais
ajustes. É aconselhável reduzir a posição
do botão de ajuste quando não utilizar
toda a capacidade do aparelho (1 única
fatia de pão, por exemplo).

Para colocar as fatias de pão :
Com o botão de controlo na posição
elevada, introduzir as fatias de pão em
cada ranhura.
4 •
Para torrar o pão :
Baixar o botão de controlo. Ao pressio-
nar, o controlo bloqueia-se na posição
inferior. As grelhas de suporte ajustam-
se automaticamente conforme a espessu-
ra das fatias e centraliza-as entre a resis-
tência que está quente.
Nota : Neste modelo electrónico, o
controlo de funcionamento só se
bloqueia na posição inferior quando o
aparelho está ligado à tomada.
É possível que esse funcionamento seja
perturbado com o decorrer do tempo por
migalhas e poeira no interior do
aparelho. Basta, então, manobrar o botão
de controlo diversas vezes para encaixar.
5 •
Interrupção da torrada :
No fim da operação, o controlo de fun-
cionamento desbloqueia-se automatica-
mente, a torradeira pára de funcionar, e
as fatias de pão sobem.
Se torrar pãezinhos com passas de uva,
retire as que corram o risco de se
soltarem, pois as mesmas podem
danificar o aparelho provocando um
curto-circuito.
Pode interromper a torrada a qualquer
momento colocando o botão de ajuste na
posição «STOP-EJECT».
6 •
Para aquecer pãezinhos, croissants,
etc. :
(acessório disponível segundo o modelo)
A sua torradeira está equipada com um
acessório para aquecer pãezinhos / crois-
sants.
Para o utilizar, seguir as seguintes
instruções :
— Suspender as grelhas pressionando a
alavanca do acessório para aquecer de
pãezinhos.
— Colocar o botão de ajuste na posição
desejada, de 1 a 3 no máximo.
— Dispor os pãezinhos ou croissants
sobre grelhas de suporte do acessório.
— Baixar o botão de controlo de
funcionamento.
— Ao fim do aquecimento, o botão de
controlo sobe, e os pãezinhos estarão
quentes.
— Pode virar os pãezinhos quando o ciclo
estiver terminado, pois o calor será
difundido ainda durante 1 ou 2
minutos, e o aquecimento será bem
homogéneo.
— Depois de utilizar, deixar arrefecer o
aparelho e desligar da tomada.
— Baixar as grelhas levantando a alavan-
ca do acessório.
Precauções :
•
Não utilizar o aparelho para torrar
simultaneamente fatias de pão e
aquecer pãezinhos, croissants, etc..
•
Nunca colocar os pãezinhos ou
croissants directamente sobre as
ranhuras da torradeira.
•
Não utilizar o aparelho para cozer
ou descongelar pratos congelados.

Cuidados e limpeza :
Antes de qualquer manipulação, desligar
e deixar arrefecer o aparelho.
Retirar a bandeja recolhe migalhas para
limpar.
Nunca introduzir objectos metálicos no
interior do aparelho, sob pena de
deterioração grave.
Limpar a parte externa do aparelho e o
cabo com um pano húmido. Secar.
Não utilizar produtos de limpeza muito
agressivos ou abrasivos (produtos para
limpeza de fornos ou lixívia).
Não enrolar o cabo em volta do aparel-
ho. Alojamento para guardar o cabo sob
o aparelho.

Als u het broodrooster een paar keer
gebruikt heeft, zult u al snel bekend zijn
met het apparaat en de verschillende stan-
den kennen. Wij raden u aan om een lagere
thermostaatstand te kiezen als u niet het
hele broodrooster gebruikt (bijvoorbeeld
slechts 1 sneetje brood).

Het plaatsen van het brood :
Plaats de sneden brood in de beide brood-
gleuven. De broodlift/bedieningsknop
moet nu in de hoogste stand staan.
4 •
Het roosteren van het brood :
Doe de broodlift naar beneden. Door beneden
op de knop te drukken blijft deze in de lage
stand staan. De broodklemmen in het apparaat
passen zich automatisch aan de dikte van het
brood aan en centreren het t.o.v. de verwar-
mingselementen, die beginnen te verwarmen.
N.B. : Bij dit elektronische model kan de
broodlift alleen in de lage stand vastgezet
worden als de stekker zich in het stopcon-
tact bevindt.
Het is mogelijk dat op de lange duur de
werking van het liftmechanisme belem-
merd wordt door de aanwezigheid van
broodkruimels en stofdeeltjes in het appa-
raat. In dat geval moet u de broodlift ver-
schillende malen op en neer bewegen tot-
dat hij in de lage stand blijft staan.
5 •
Het einde van de roostertijd :
Aan het einde van de roostertijd wordt de
broodlift automatisch ontgrendeld, het
brood komt naar boven en het broodrooster
schakelt zichzelf uit.
Voor het roosteren van krentenbrood en
halve krentenbollen dient u eerst de losse
krenten/rozijnen te verwijderen. Deze kun-
nen in het apparaat vallen en kortsluiting
veroorzaken.
U kunt het roosteren op elk gewenst
moment handmatig onderbreken door de
thermostaatknop op de stand “STOP-
EJECT” te zetten.

Het verwarmen van broodjes en
croissants :
(accessoire bij bepaalde modellen
meegeleverd)
Uw broodrooster is uitgerust met een
«opwarmaccessoire voor broodjes».
Volg voor het gebruik van het rekje deze
instructies :
— Til het rooster op door op door de hendel
van het opwarmaccessoire voor broodjes
te drukken.
— Stel de thermostaatknop in op stand 1, 2
of 3 (niet hoger).
— Plaats de broodjes of croissants op het
rekje.
— Duw de broodlift naar beneden.
— Aan het einde van de verwarmingstijd,
zodra de broodlift omhoog komt, zijn de
broodjes warm.
— U kunt voor een extra gelijkmatige ver-
warming de broodjes nu omdraaien, want
na het uitschakelen verspreidt het brood-
rooster nog 1 tot 2 minuten warmte.
— Laat het broodrooster vervolgens afkoe-
len en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
— Doe het rooster naar beneden door de
hendel van het opwarmaccessoire voor
broodjes omhoog te doen.
Voorzorgsmaatregelen :
•
Het apparaat nooit gebruiken om
tegelijkertijd brood te roosteren en
broodjes of croissants te verwarmen.
•
Broodjes en croissants nooit direct op
de broodgleuven plaatsen.
•
Het opzetrekje niet gebruiken voor het
verwarmen of ontdooien van
diepvriesgerechten.

Schoonmaken en onderhoud :
Vóór elke schoonmaak- en onderhouds-
beurt de stekker uit het stopcontact nemen
en het apparaat af laten koelen.
Verwijder de broodkruimellade en gooi de
kruimels weg.
Raak de binnenkant van het broodrooster
nooit aan met een metalen voorwerp (vork,
mes e.d.) om ernstige beschadigingen te
voorkomen.
Neem de buitenkant van het apparaat en
het snoer regelmatig af met een vochtig
doekje. Laten drogen of droogwrijven.
Gebruik geen agressieve of schurende
schoonmaakmiddelen, geen ovenreini-
gings-producten of bleekwater.
Rol het snoer niet rond het apparaat, maar
gebruik de snoeropwikkeling onder het
apparaat.

Aangezien het in principe mogelijk is, dat het
brood kan verbranden, het broodrooster niet
in de buurt of direct onder gordijnen of
andere brandbare materialen plaatsen. Niet
zonder toezicht aan laten staan.
●
Mochten delen van het apparaat onverhoopt
vlam vatten, doof de vlammen dan nooit met
water, maar met een licht vochtige doek.
●
Als een sneetje brood in het apparaat blijft
vastzitten, zet het apparaat dan uit, trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact en laat afkoelen.
Verwijder het brood uit de broodgleuf, maar
let er op dat u het metalen binnenwerk hierbij
niet aanraakt. Nooit een vork of ander
metalen voorwerp hiervoor gebruiken.

To insert the bread :
With the control lever in the UP
position, place the slices of bread in
each slot.

Toasting the bread :
Press down the control lever which
locks in the down position. The slots
centre the slices and toast evenly.
NB : This electronic model only
switches ON in the DOWN position
when the toaster is plugged in.
Crumbs or dust inside the toaster
could effect the operation. Just slide
the control lever up or down several
times to dislodge crumbs, and then
lock in DOWN position.

To stop toasting :
When the bread is toasted, the lever
unlocks and springs up automatically,
the toaster stops toasting and the
slices of bread pop up.
When toasting currant buns or tea-
cakes, remove any loose currants from
the bread before placing them in the
toaster; Loose currants may fall into
the appliance and damage the toaster.
You can interrupt toasting at any time
by turning the browning control to the
STOP/EJECT position.

Warming buns and croissants, etc. :

Your toaster comes with a bun/crois-
sant warmer.
Before use, please follow these
instructions :
— Raise the warming rack by
PRESSING DOWN the bun
warmer lever.
— Turn the browning control button to
the required position, 1 to 3
maximum.
— Place the buns or the croissants on
the warming grid.
— Lower the control knob to DOWN
position.
— When warmed, the control knob
springs UP, and the buns are hot.
— If you turn the buns over when the
cycle is finished, the heat will still
circulate for 1 to 2 minutes. The
buns will then be warmed all
through.
— After use, leave the toaster to cool
and then unplug.
— Lower the warming rack by
LIFTING UP the bun warmer
lever.

Cleaning :

Pull out the crumb tray and empty out

cord with a damp cloth. Dry.
Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning
products, oven cleaners or bleach.
Do not wrap the electric cord around
the toaster body, there is a cord stora-
ge area underneath.

Après quelques essais vous serez vite fami-
liarisé avec ces réglages. Il est conseillé de
réduire la position du bouton de réglage
lorsque vous n’utilisez pas toute la capacité
de l’appareil (1 seule tranche par exemple).

Mise en place des tranches de pain :
Le bouton de commande étant en position
haute, mettre les tranches de pain dans
chaque fente.

Grillage du pain :
Abaisser le bouton de commande. En
appuyant, la commande se verrouille en posi-
tion basse. Les grilles de maintien s’ajustent
automatiquement selon l’épaisseur des
tranches et les centrent entre les éléments
chauffants qui sont alors activés.
Nota : Sur ce modèle électronique, la com-
mande de fonctionnement ne s’enclenche en
position basse que lorsque l’appareil est
branché.
Il est possible que ce fonctionnement soit
perturbé à la longue par des miettes, des
poussières à l’intérieur de l’appareil. Il suffit
alors de manœuvrer plusieurs fois le bouton
de commande pour l’enclencher.

Arrêt du grillage :
En fin de cuisson, la commande de fonction-
nement se déverrouille automatiquement, le
grille-pain cesse de fonctionner et les
tranches de pain remontent.
Si vous grillez des petits pains aux raisins,
enlever les raisins qui risquent de se détacher
car ceux-ci peuvent endommager l’appareil
en provoquant un cours circuit.
Vous pouvez interrompre le grillage à tout
moment en positionnant le bouton de réglage
sur la position “STOP- EJECT ”.

Réchauffer des petits-pains, croissants… :
(accessoire disponible selon modèle)
Votre grille-pain est équipé d’un accessoire
“réchauffe petits-pains/croissants”.
Pour l’utiliser suivre ces instructions :
— Relever les fils
en appuyant sur le levier
de l’accessoire “réchauffe petits-
pains/croissants”.
— Régler le bouton de réglage sur la position
désirée de 1 à 3 maxi.
— Disposer les petits pains ou les croissants
sur les fils supports de l’accessoire.
— Abaisser le bouton de commande de fonc-
tionnement.
— En fin de réchauffage, le bouton de com-
mande remonte, les petits pains sont
chauds.
— Vous pouvez retourner les petits pains
quand le cycle est fini, la chaleur se diffu-
sera encore 1 à 2 minutes et le réchauffage
sera bien homogène.
— En fin d’utilisation, laisser refroidir l’appa-
reil et débranchez-le.
— Abaissez les fils
en remontant le levier de
l’accessoire.

pour griller simultanément des tranches
de pain et réchauffer des petits-pains,
croissants…

Ne jamais placer les petits-pains ou
croissants directement sur les fentes du
grille-pain.

décongeler des plats surgelés.

Entretien et nettoyage :
Avant tout entretien, débrancher et laisser
refroidir l’appareil.
Retirer le tiroir ramasse-miettes et vider les
miettes.
Ne jamais intervenir à l’intérieur de l’appa-
reil avec un objet métallique sous peine de
détériorations graves.
Essuyer l’extérieur de l’appareil et le cordon
avec un linge humide. Sécher.
Ne pas utiliser de produits d’entretien trop
agressifs ou abrasifs, de produits à nettoyer
les fours ou de l’eau de javel.
Ne pas enrouler le cordon autour du corps de
l’appareil, un range-cordon est disponible
sous l’appareil.

Si vous utilisez une rallonge électrique,
attention :
a) la puissance électrique de votre rallonge
doit être au moins aussi grande que celle
de votre grille-pain ;
b) elle doit être munie d’un fil de terre ;
c) cette rallonge doit être placée hors de la
portée des enfants.

Ne pas installer votre grille-pain près d’une
source de chaleur, ni sur un four chaud.

Le bouton de commande de grillage doit être
dans la position haute quand vous branchez
ou débranchez votre appareil.

Il ne faut pas introduire dans l’appareil de trop
grosses tranches de pain, (risque d’incendie),
ni d’objets métalliques (risques de court-cir-
cuit). Ne jamais placer de papier, carton ou
plastique dans, sur ou sous l’appareil.

Le pain peut brûler, aussi le grille-pain ne
doit-il pas être utilisé à proximité ou sous des
rideaux ou autres matériaux combustibles. Il

Sil arrivait que certaines parties du produit
s’enflamment, ne tentez jamais de les
éteindre avec de l’eau. Étouffez les flammes
avec un linge humide.

Si une tranche de pain reste coincée dans l’ap-
pareil, débrancher et laisser refroidir. Sortir
alors la tranche de pain sans toucher les par-
ties métalliques. Ne jamais utiliser une four-
chette ou autre objet métallique.
