вот твоя мать — у тебя винты воткнуты в синие разъемы — это онбордный интеловский рейд\сата контроллер, черные — это LSI рейд, который под радиатором (и место под батарею похоже под него) соответственно думай что тебе надо.

Сразу создал, но без инициализации они были бы не видны ни в системе ни при ее установке, верно я полагаю?
Жесткие подключены в синие SATA, но через RAID контроллер Super SAS743tq.
Нужно переподключить жесткие в черные SATA?
Извините за глупые вопросы, первый раз общаюсь с сервером.
Сис админы, ткните носом в полезные интернет ресурсы связанные с серверами и серверными системами, для обучения так сказать, купил книгу, но чуть не спалил мозг.
В google забанили :).

Можно скрин Управления устройствами с открытыми вкладками SCSI и дисков? Если мне память не изменяет, при хардварном рэйде он и должен отдавать в систему том целиком, а диски не отображать (т.е., например, при RAID0 из 2х500Гб он должен отображать в диспетчере устройств один диск на 1 Тб, при RAID 1 — 1 диск на 500Гб).

да не нужно ничего . просто второй контроллер без дисков стоит, о чем рапортует каждую загрузку, короче забей и все тут.
SAS743tq — это корзина а не контроллер.
корзина SAS, контроллер LSI — SAS если диски SAS — то возможно имеет смысл перевесить винчи на LSI, если на серваке еще ничего нет, и рушить винду не жалко.

даже при самом говённом софтрейде (типа силикона 3112) рейдовый том будет в винде ОДИН. если их ДВА — то рейд не сконфигурен\состоит двух массивов по одному диску (такая фича наблюдается на HP Smart Array старых, если нужно просто подключить винч — надо создать рейд-массив из одного диска, звучит тупо, но факт)

тогда оставь как есть, профита будет ноль, только лишняя возня.
а на LSI потом добавишь массив на SAS винчах, если это понадобится.
