Коллеги, моё почтение!
Осмелюсь начать новую тему, посвященную Package Designer.
Пока только осваиваю этот софт, но уже сложилось впечатление об этом продукте. Prinect как всегда на высоте
Многое не понятно, но думаю со временем научусь.
Коллеги, если кто нибудь обладает знанием, или имеет мануал на русском — поделитесь пожалуйста опытом.

Да в общем то кроме гордого лейбла Prinect эта программа особого отношения к Heidelberg не имеет. Родила ее EngView Systems, великая сила ОЕМ дала новое имя ))) По функциональности аналогична лидерам — EskoArtworks ArtiosCAD и Arden Software ImpactCAD, простой понятный удобный интерфейс. Мануала на русском по моим сведениям не имеет. Конструирование упаковки в любом специализированном CADe построена по одинаковым принципам и предполагает наличие базовых знаний, увы уроки учат рисовать чертежи и конструировать штанцевальную оснастку, базовые знания конструирования упаковки они не дают.

штамп можно сделать несколькими путями:
1) рисовать с нуля, как в векторной программе
2) сделать штамп на основе готового, из базы (на диске создается папка с образцами). После выбора образца можно изменить базовые размеры и 1-up готов.
3) рисовать с нуля, но не линиями, а готовыми группами объектов, выбираемых из закладки Synergy.
После создания 1up можно создавать 3d. Для этого выбираешь закладку 3д и выбираешь создать. Дальше разбирайся с фазами. Или оставляй автоматически созданный, или редактируй, или грохай и делай свои.

1) Нарисовать как векторном не получается (наверно в силу привычки), открываю нарисованный в иллюстраторе, а как дальше с ним работать — не понять. И что такое 1-up?
2) База действительно огромная, но к сожел. не нашёл даже похожего на нужный.
3) C этим вообще не разобрался. При установке программы, установилось два приложения: Package Designer и Synergy.

1) Думаю, править вырубку из иллюстратора не имеет смысла, проще нарисовать новую. 1up — это вырубка единичного изделия. ПО сути — просто форма, которая потом будет использоваться для создания 3д, создания вырубки листа, всего прочего.
2) В меню запуска программы есть ссылка на chm-файл Library Index. Свою коробку можно найти здесь и прямо отсюда отправить открыться в package designer.
3) Жмешь Create New Object, выбираешь Blank Drawing. Идешь View > Tables. Справа открывается панель Tables. В ней находишь Synergy Components. В этой библиотеке собраны готовые группы стандартных блоков: база, клапана… Выбираешь нужные рисуешь, программа во много поможет их верно спозиционировать относительно друг друга.

В какой программе больше (а может, лучше) база заготовок (или элементов)?
Скажем, все знают, что место соединения клапанов CrashLock делают (с небольшим радиусом) закруглением. В ArtiosCad этого нет (хотя и не утвеждаю на 100%), например.

Вот нарисовал выкройку(в приложении)
В Print Package подходит заготовка из ECMA A60.20.00.03 Auto Closure — Tuck-In Flap Closure.evr, но она стандартная.
Теперь мне надо сделать дугу на верхней части лицевой стороны и ушки.
Подскажите, как грамотно сделать?

Возможно появились какие-то новинки, но раньше (когда работал с упаковкой), подобные расчёты производились в штанцбюро технологом-конструктором. Они пользовались Impact’ом. В случае сложного макета производилась пробная резка из тиражного материала.

На самом деле, наиболее удобным является установка License Server на отдельную машину. С рабочих станций просто при установке указываем где сервер. Ключи естественно вводим на самом сервере. Кст если мне не изменяет память, то на данный момент к серверу подключается только 1 донгл, он отличается от старых надписью, у меня Rainbow SuperPro (на старых Sentinel SafePro).

Скорее всего нет программных решений. Только опыт и размышления.
Чтобы проверить себя, можно сделать 3D-View и посмотреть как изделие складывается. Не забывайте о толщине материала.

Еще проще будет почти готовый макет распечатать в натуральную величину (пусть и склейка, если не помещается) и изготовить реальный макет из реального материала. Все будет сразу понятно.
Умозрительные заключения и даже 3D-представление с учетом толщины материала в означенном ПО полной картины не дадут. Чтобы без макета учесть все тонкости, нужен обширный опыт. Да и то не факт.

Согласен. Package Designer очень помогает в работе человеку, хорошо понимающему что и для чего он делает. Без должных знаний и опыта даже такой хороший инструмент бесполезен.
Вырезанный из тиражного материала пробный макет — самое безошибочное решение.

В параметрах темплейта (если используешь заготовки из базы) есть константа d. Это и есть толщина материала.
