You will learn all of the basics in this XFT-502 review. This device is another tens unit product from Shenzhen XFT Electronics which we talked about in our review of XFT-320A. It looks like this tens unit is not quite as popular as the XFT-320A from what I have seen in Amazon reviews.
At the time of this review, the XFT-502 was available from three different sellers on Amazon.
Throughout this review we also aim to compare tens units.
Like XFT-320A both units are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. There are four main modes which the device contains and they are:
Each mode has its own button on the device itself. Many other units have more modes and programs to choose from for more options.
There are only three main modes of speed. As there is a button for each mode there is also a button which controls the pulsing speed of the electrical current.
Vibrations in the massage mode are said to make the massage experience more pleasant and effective. The waves are low frequency.
Channels
Most Tens units are dual channel, and that is also the case for the XFT-502. It can be connected to four pads (two for each channel) and you can adjust the channels separately so as to focus on either a large part of your body or two areas at once. Having two channels can come in very handy.
XFT-320 is also a dual channel unit.
Intensity Levels
Aside from the modes and the speed there is a button devoted to the intensity level of the device, and it is called the Strength button. It allows you to switch from one level of intensity to the next. As with the XFT-320A I am unable to find the precise number of intensity levels the unit provides.
Using the XFT-502
There are kind of a lot of buttons on this device, so I imagine that might be a little confusion for some people. It may take you a little time in order to get acclimated to how the device works.
If you are looking for a Gold Hand XFT-502 user guide, I found this google document here while searching Google. In my opinion one of the greatest things about the Internet is the fact that you can find the instructions to almost anything. User manuals are a very important element in owning and operating any Tens device.
If you purchase the device from China then you may end up with a Chinese manual, as some buyers have complained. The above document may help you out when it comes to tens unit directions.

Mobility and Size
It is approximately 2.36 (W) x 3.93(L) x 0.59(H) inches (60 x 100(L)×15 mm). These dimensions are according to the manufacturer page. The page also states that the unit is 2.12oz(60g), so evidently it is lighter than XFT-320A which was stated to be 3.5oz (100g).
Overall it looks to be quite small which is perfect for easy mobility. Evidently it will fit snugly in your pocket for easy portability.
AAA Batteries
oThis otc tens unit uses AAA batteries. According to the manufacturer website the batteries will last as long as they do in FXT-320A—which is 2-3 months if you use it for 30 minutes a day. FXT-320A had some reviews mentioning that the device did not have a very favorable battery life, but I do not know about the FXT-502 by comparison.
It may have the same issue, or it may not. Part of it may also depend on what mode, speed, and strength you use most.
What Else You Will Receive
The unit comes with two pairs of massage pads (four total), two electrode wires, pad housing, one pair of batteries, and one manual. Obviously at some point you will have to replace batteries as well as pads.
Replacement pads can be found on Amazon. If you need a little guidance, I suggest going here for two pairs or here for four pairs. These electrodes for tens units can be used for both XFT-320 and XFT-502.
Warranty
I wasn’t able to locate the warranty for either the XFT-320 or the XFT-502. In order to figure out the refund or guarantee available on this device you will have to directly contact the manufacturer and (if it applies) the third party seller you are going through.
in my review of the XFT-320 I suggested keeping the receipt if you choose to buy this Tens unit and overall I think it is good advice. Just in case something breaks it’s important to have some proof of purchase.

You can purchase this tens unit on Amazon for varying prices. It is sold on ebay for anywhere from $24-$140 and it can also be bought on AliExpress.com. Price starts from $13 and up to $84 with free shipping options.

If you have not ordered from AliExpress before it don’t forget that it will be shipped from China, and it could take up to 40 or more days to arrive in the United States.
Overall the unit can be found for relatively cheap if you look in the right places.
Customer Reviews
There are not a whole lot of XFT tens machine reviews about this device—especially not compared to the XFT-320. It can be found here where one customer was not happy with the electrical cable. It does not have a very appealing rating from this seller.
There were some positive reviews but there was also criticism about the unit being too weak, which was the same issue with the XFT-320A, according to some people. Some people claim that the device is too small so that they can only use it on one part of the body at once.

These are some points to consider if you are going to buy a tens unit like XFT-502. Although you can get this product as low as $13 from aliexpress.com, our preference would be to go with a product like Tens 3000 or Tens 7000.

Pad Thai, is a dish loved by many, including myself. We know you will love our Healthy Pad Thai with Organic Rice Noodles just as much as we do.
Pad thai, or phad thai, is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as a street food and at most restaurants in Thailand.
Pad Thai has now become a common go-to Thai meal around the world, and for good reason. It’s delicious!
According to a CNN survey, Pad Thai is ranked fifth on a list of World’s 50 most delicious foods readers’ poll. “Apparently, pad Thai was popularized by Thailand’s Prime Minister in the 1940s and 50s, as a way to improve the country’s rice-based economy, farmers’ well-being and national health…”
The only problem though is when it comes to modern street food and take out, the ingredients aren’t as pure as they once were. Nowadays it’s a dish that is rarely nutritious, often containing excessive refined oils, sugar, salts, and msg.
We have good news however… this recipe has all the flavour of a great pad thai without the added no-no’s.
It’s a healthy pad thai, containing mostly a variety of rainbow veggies, your choice of protein or vegetarian if you prefer. We just grass-fed beef, however, you can use your favourite – chicken, seafood, pork or lamb. Just make sure the meat is grass-fed/free-range/organic.
We used organic rice noodles in our pad thai, the reason we opt for organic is that they are free from chemicals (pesticides) that can be harmful to your body. The rice is typically grown sustainably and is fair trade.
Should you be following a grain free or low carb style diet, you can easily swap out the rice noodles for some zucchini noodles that work just as well.
In this dish we opted for using coconut aminos instead of soy sauce, here is why…
What is Coconut Aminos?
Coconut aminos is a delicious sauce made from coconut sap. It is dark, rich, salty and slightly sweet in flavour.
It looks like a light soy sauce or tamari which is a wheat-free soy sauce, but the coconut aminos is soy and gluten free, which makes it a perfect substitute for anyone avoiding soy and gluten.
To make coconut aminos, the sap is collected from the coconut blossoms, then blended with sea salt and naturally aged. Yum!
What makes Coconut Aminos good for us?
Apart from the fact that it is free from soy and gluten, coconut aminos are a low GI and packed with minerals, vitamin C, and B vitamins. It is high in amino acids, containing 17 types. Amino acids are vital building blocks of protein and are essential to our health.

500g meat of your choice, flash fried in a little coconut oil (free-range chicken strips, grass-fed steak – thinly sliced or shrimp) or omit for vegetarian option
1 package organic rice noodles or Zoodles
1 zucchini
1 red pepper
½ a yellow onion
2 carrots
1 cup sugar snap peas
1 cup green or purple cabbage, thinly shaved
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 egg, beaten
½ cup cashews or almonds, chopped
¼ cup sesame seeds
½ cup fresh herbs like coriander, green onions, and basil, chopped
For the Sauce:
3 tablespoons fish sauce or vegan fish sauce substitute
Sweetener of your choice, to taste (honey, xylitol, erythritol)
3 tablespoons gut healing bone broth or vegetable stock
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon coconut aminos
1 teaspoon chilli paste (Optional)
- Place the uncooked noodles in a bowl of cold water to soak (if using).
- Spiralize the zucchini, red pepper, and onion into noodle-like shapes or thinly slice them julienne style. Cut the carrots into very small pieces.
- Shake up the sauce ingredients in a jar.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the veggies and prefer flash fried meat and stir-fry with tongs until the veggies are tender-crisp. Be careful not to overcook them they’ll get soggy and limp. Transfer to a dish and set aside.
- Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan. Drain the rice noodles they should be softened by now (if using). Add the rice or zucchini noodles to the hot pan and stir-fry for a minute or two, using tongs to toss until they are the texture you like. Add the sauce and stir-fry for another minute or two, until the sauce is starting to thicken and stick to the noodles. Push the noodles aside to make a little room for the egg, pour the beaten egg into the pan and let it sit for 30 seconds or so. Toss everything around with the tongs. The egg mixture will stick to the noodles and everything will start getting sticky.
- Now add in the vegetables and meat, toss together, and remove from heat. Stir in the nuts and herbs and serve immediately.

P.S. this recipe also works really well without meat, so, it can be enjoyed as a vegetarian option.
