Debistal-GM 2 Tablet ER is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. This medicine is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in proper utilisation of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar levels.
Debistal-GM 2 Tablet ER should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It must be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. Overdose may lead to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
Some people may develop hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when this medicine is taken along with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol or upon skipping a meal. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while taking it. Other common side effects of this medicine include nausea, taste changes, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, edema (swelling), blurred vision, bone fracture, and respiratory tract infection.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver or heart problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Your doctor will check your kidney function tests before starting treatment with it. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking it as this may increase the risk of developing some side effects.

восполняющее дефицит ферментов поджелудочной железы и компонентов желчи.
Компенсирует недостаточность секреторной функции поджелудочной железы и желчевыделительной функции печени. Входящие в состав панкреатина ферменты — амилаза, липаза и протеаза — облегчают переваривание углеводов, жиров и белков и способствуют их более полному всасыванию в тонком кишечнике.
Экстракт желчи действует желчегонно, облегчает переваривание жиров, способствует выделению липазы поджелудочной железой.
Фермент гемицеллюлаза способствует расщеплению растительной клетчатки, что также улучшает пищеварительные процессы, уменьшает образование газов в кишечнике.

Показания
Недостаточность внешнесекреторной функции поджелудочной железы (хронический панкреатит, муковисцидоз); хронические воспалительно-дистрофические заболевания желудка, кишечника, желчного пузыря (состояния после резекции или облучения этих органов, сопровождающиеся нарушениями переваривания пищи, метеоризмом, диареей — в составе комбинированной терапии); для улучшения переваривания пищи у пациентов с нормальной функцией ЖКТ в случае погрешности в питании, а также при нарушениях жевательной функции, вынужденной длительной иммобилизации, малоподвижном образе жизни; подготовка к рентгенологическому и ультразвуковому исследованию органов брюшной полости.
Противопоказания
Повышенная чувствительность к компонентам препарата, острый панкреатит, обострение хронического панкреатита, печеночная недостаточность, гепатит, механическая желтуха, желчнокаменная болезнь.
Применение при беременности и кормлении грудью
Безопасность применения при беременности и кормлении грудью изучена недостаточно. Применение возможно, когда ожидаемая польза для матери превышает потенциальный риск для плода.
Способ применения и дозы

Внутрь, не разжевывая, во время или после еды.
Взрослым — по 1–3 драже 3 раза в сутки. Более высокие дозы назначаются врачом. Детям — по назначению врача.
Продолжительность лечения может варьировать от нескольких дней (при нарушении процесса пищеварения вследствие погрешностей в диете) до нескольких месяцев или лет (при необходимости постоянной заместительной терапии).
Побочные действия
Аллергические реакции, снижение эндогенного синтеза желчных кислот; при длительном применении в высоких дозах возможно развитие гиперурикурии, повышение уровня мочевой кислоты в плазме крови.
Взаимодействие
При одновременном применении с препаратами железа возможно снижение всасывания последних. Одновременное применение антацидных средств, содержащих кальция карбонат и/или магния гидроксид, может привести к снижению эффективности дигестала.
Условия хранения
В сухом, защищенном от света месте, при температуре не выше 25 °C.
Хранить в недоступном для детей месте.

3 года.
