Installation
** Monitor trigger ** when the reverse backup light comes on it will trigger the monitor to switch to the backup camera.
- Find a suitable location to surface mount and install the camera. Make sure the camera’s view is unobstructed and be careful not to drill into any wires that might damage the vehicle. When all connections have been made and before mounting the camera, verify the camera is working and has a good view of the area. Then mount the camera down with the supplied two screws.
- Connect the RED wire to the +12 volt reverse wire
- Connect the BLACK wire to the Chassis ground (a metal, non-painted surface).
- Connect the GREEN wire to the + 12V volt reverse wire.
- Run video cable through the vehicle, up to video monitor. (Avoid placing video cable where it can get pinched or damaged).
- Attach the YELLOW video RCA to the reverse camera input of the radio or video monitor; connect the RED wire coming from the YELLOW video RCA to the reverse trigger wire on the radio or video monitor.
NOTE: The camera comes with trajectory lines and a mirror image view active. If you want to remove the parking lines or change the image to a reverse image, follow the steps below:
A) Disconnect power to the camera.
B) Cut the BLUE loop to remove the trajectory parking lines. isolate and tape the wires.
C) Cut the WHITE loop to get the normal image, isolate and tape the wires.
D) Reconnect power to the camera. If the trajectory parking lines are needed or the image needs to go back to reverse, just follow the steps above and reconnect the wires.

Installation Tips
- VTL 17LT J is designed to work best on vehicles that have a license plate located at the center and above the rear bumper. If your vehicle has a plate location that is offset to the left side, or right side, or your plate is located under the bumper then the VTL 17LT J may not provide optimum performance,
- VTL 17LT J bar-bracket is designed to be mounted behind the license plate so only the camera is visible
- VTL 17LTJ is designed to use the existing License Plate mounting equipment.
Caution: The rearview camera must be mounted at an angle (30- 40 degrees). It must not be mounted horizontally straight. Otherwise, the sensitivity and accuracy will be affected accordingly.

Вообще-то я хотел парктроник 
Но панда мне прислала совсем не ту модель, я что хотел. Прислали без экрана, только со звуковым сигналом. В общем не стал я ставить.
Но задумался о камере заднего вида. Что я от неё хотел? — беспроводная — чтобы не тянуть провода через весь салон;
— ИК подсветка, чтобы ночью было видно бордюры при парковке
— простота установки и чтоб в глаза не бросалась.
С первыми двумя всё ясно. Простота — самый простой вариант это вместо лампы подсветки номера или в салон.
В салон — будет мертвая зона + камера заметна, вместо лампочки подсветки — это идеальный вариант, но у китайцев для своего ford fusion не смог найти модельки. Ценник фирменной камеры — 2500-3000руб без установки за проводную камеру не впечатлил.
Выбор пал на номерную рамку. Беспроводная, есть ИК, камера поворачивается — дистанцию можно подстроить под себя. Немного смущало — что делать есть не подойдет по размеру но вроде всё подходит. Погода шепчет — по этому пока не ставил. Жду монитор.
Дальше, камера здорово — выбрали. Но надо же ещё и картинку куда-то вывести.
Идеальный вариант — зеркало со встроенным монитором. Максимально не заметно и удобно. Но замучали сомнения — качество таких зеркал говорят не очень, они темноватые, по размеры могут мешать открывать козырьки и к тому же многие жалуются на то, что при езде они трясутся.
Другой отличный вариант — магнитола с экраном. Увы, у фьюжена нет экрана, менять штатную в мои планы не входит.
В итоге остановился на не большом мониторчике, который можно было бы спрятать в такой ящик на торпеде

надо отметить наличие отдельного входа с поддержкой камер заднего вида — с них картинка идёт зеркальная
сам монитор ещё не пришел (заказывал отдельно), жду через недельку — другую.
Камера
Пластмасса качественная, множество не понятных дырочек
По центру камера и 4 светодиода
камера поворачивается по вертикали для подстройки расстояния. 2 винта по бокам используются для фиксации камеры после настройки. В принципе сама камера снимается и вроде даже разбирается (по крайней мере винты там есть), но пока разбирать не охота
Светодиоды светятся красным. не ярко, но освещают очень хорошо. Днем свечение не заметно, в темноте — не яркие красные огоньки.
Заявлена защита от воды IP-68 (может работать под водой) — сомневаюсь конечно, но от просто брызг точно не пострадает. Может потом разберу, посмотрю на качество герметизации.
фотик отказался делать нормальную фотку светодиодов и упорно показывает вместо красного — синий. Видимо ИК фильтр имеет место быть.
В комплекте идёт передатчик и приёмник
на фотке передатчик — видеовход и питание. Аналогичные и на самой камере.
На приёмнике видеовыход и провода без разъема для питания.
Оба оснащены светодиодами — один синий, другой красный.
Приёмник подключенный к входу видеокарты, слева можно разглядеть небольшую антенну

ну и собственно главное — работа. На скорую руку запитал от компа приёмник и передатчик. Видео выход подключил к компу — к тв-тюнеру с видеозахватом. Вот что вышло — 
Обратите внимание, что картинка зеркальная — кружка не слева, а справа
По самой картинке — картинка конечно далеко не подарок, автофокуса у таких камер обычно нет и оптика с матрицей оставляет желать лучшего. Но им этого и не надо. Это не видеорегистратор. Главное, чтоб видно было что сзади, особенно в темноте.

Мда, автопортрет не сделаешь но разглядеть препятствие можно легко. Я пока что доволен, особенно ночным режимом. Посмотрим как будет на машине.

PS: ушел мучаться с откручиванием номера с машины. из 4х винтов только 1 открутился, остальные намертво за 4 года на улице

If you cannot offer the pictures or videos of the problem or if the technology staff cannot figure it out from what you offer, we need you to send it back to us. Autopumpkin will test the unit as what you report. If it is true, your issue will be disposed of as a quality issue. If the problem doesn’t occur during our test, actually it is because of your misusage or improper environment, and so on, it will not be taken as a quality issue.

7. Definition of mistaken delivery

There are some objective reasons for the slight difference in appearance, such as photography technology, light, the random update of the unit by the factory, etc. These are not taken as mistaken delivery. If the functions of the unit are more than what you buy, it is not a mistaken delivery. If the manual has a few differences from what you receive, but the unit has the same functions as the description on the website, it doesn’t belong to mistaken delivery, too. This kind of problem is probably because the factory doesn’t update the manual promptly. The description on the website is the only standard.

If you specify your order on color or some special functions when you buy but receive the wrong one, it is Autopumpkin’s fault. If you don’t specify your order, we will send your parcel randomly according to the stock. It will not be mistaken delivery as such cases.

If some expected functions are not included and you don’t ask us any question about those functions before you buy, it isn’t in the range of mistaken delivery.
8. Compensation of the shipping fee

Built-in(internal) GPS does not need any other facilities to make it worked, just insert SD card with map storage and activate it is ok. Those marked «external» ones need to be connected with external small GPS box, which size is about 10*10*2cm, some items already include that in price&package, some don’t, please check the descriptions (also need SD card with map storage).
